EnergybenchmarkHow is your site performing versus others?

Per group of comparable organisations, we define the functional units usually applied in the sector, such as gross floor area, headcount, kilograms of milk, number of students, number of beds etc. The site information and functional units of each participating location go into the web application specially developed for that purpose. We then receive the energy invoices from subscribers periodically. Those energy invoices contain validated energy volumes. Those energy invoices also go into the web application, whereby data from energy invoices, building-specific information and functional units are merged. This creates specific key indicators per homogenous group, such as the average energy consumption per square metre or per student, as well as one’s own relative consumption per site. This gives subscribers a clear view of their own energy consumption and how that compares to the sector average. Targeted energy savings become simple. Afterwards, subscribers receive at least once a year the energy-saving report, which includes among other things the potential savings through implementation of energy-saving measures, but also the deviations we have found in energy invoices and energy tariffs paid vis-à-vis current market prices.
